Celebrating 50 Years of Strength and Spirit: Shotokan Karate International Australia - 50th Anniversary Event!
Join us as we commemorate half a century of dedication, discipline, and determination at the SKIA 50th Anniversary Celebration! Since 1974, our association has been a beacon of martial arts excellence, shaping the lives of generations with the timeless values of respect, perseverance, and harmony.
We are incredibly fortunate to have both Kancho Nobuaki Kanazawa & Shihan Manabu Murakami from Honbu Dojo Japan, coming to teach and celebrate this milestone.
Where:
- The National Seminar & National Championships will be held at the brand new and state of the art Heffron Centre in the beachside suburb of Maroubra, in Sydney's east.
When:
- The Instructors course and AGM will be held on 24th September 2024 with training commencing early afternoon.
- Regular training will be kicking off in the morning on 25th September along with the official welcome function that evening.
- The National Championships will be held on Saturday 28th September 2024 with farewell function that evening.
- Sunday 29th September will likely be a less formal day for those who can stick around or missed out on training through the week with a BBQ to end the day.
