A score of at least 18/20 in this theory exam is required as a component of the SKIA Judges Accreditation (C level). Additional accreditation requirements are:
- Must be an SKIF Dan Grade and 18 years of age (or above).
- Must be assessed at a State or National event (practical component).
Accreditation may be awarded for Kata, Kumite or both. Accreditation maintenance requirements are:
- Must Judge at an SKIA National/State tournament at least once every two years.
Failure to comply with the maintenance requirements will result in demotion and eventual de-registration.
